The following icons indicate that the manufacturer is a producer of the specified tile type.
Wall Wall tile.
Floor Floor tile.
Bisque Bisque: Tile bisque or body tile for further glazing or decoration.
Terracotta Terracotta: unglazed material often made of red burning clay.
Klinker Klinker: generally shaped by extrusion and may be glazed or unglazed.
Porcelain Porcelain: generally made by the dust-pressed method producing a dense tile with a smooth finish and high mechanical strength.
Monoporosa Monoporosa: ceramic wall tile produced by a single-firing method with an average firing temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius and a firing time of approx. forty minutes.
Monocottura Monocottura: single-fired floor tile permitting the fusion of the clay body with the glaze.
Bicottura Bicottura: second-firing of the bisque once the glaze or decoration has been applied.
Third Firing Third Firing: special decorative effect applied to tile by a third-firing process.
Tile Decoration Tile Decoration: application of additional decorative effects by a company specialising in adding value to tiles produced by others.
Mosaic Mosaic: tile normally produced by either dust-pressed or plastic method usually presented on mesh in a variety of sizes predominantly 50x50 mm.
Skirting Skirting: tile produced for specific tile ranges for commercial or domestic application.
Special Pieces Special Pieces: eg. coves, internal or external angles, step-treads, etc.
