The construction of a rustic bathroom requires a different approach from that of a conventional
one. The example explained in the following pages by Germans Boada,S.A. is the most complex
case of a bathroom which we could come across. It consists of constructing the bathroom by
laying the tiling with spacing and in a diagonal pattern.
This procedure can be used for both a new bathroom and for the complete refitting of an existing one.
All the details concerning approach and positioning are equally applicable to both situations.
However, if we have decided to carry out a complete refitting, this is because we wish to create a feel
which is completely different to the feel of the existing bathroom.
To be completely satisfied with the result, it is important to start from scratch, contrary to the current
general tendency in the market of avoiding structural reforms and making use of the location of the
bathroom fittings, the water supply connections and the wastepipes.
