Once we have tiled and jointed the walls and the floor, we can lay the tile joining the floor
to the wall. These tiles should fit perfectly into the jointing.
In this strip between the floor and the wall we normally find the tap and wastepipe connections for the
bidet and the stopcock for the toilet cistern.
To make the necessary holes we need to use a 28 mm diamond bit for the tap supply and a 50 mm
diamond bit for the wastepipe.
Laying the last tiles.
Now we only need to tile the bath itself. We use stoneware tiles, as selected in the design of the
bathroom. Here the quality of the finish is vitally important as users are frequently in unprotected
contact with these tiles.
