It is extremely important to hand over a perfectly clean bathroom, as this not only improves the quality of the presentation and enhances the finish, but also shows the degree of professionalism of the tiler. There are many tools and products for the final cleaning of this type of work.

Range of RUBI tools and products for cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of ceramic tiles.

The best product for final cleaning is the RUBINET STONE CLEANER, which eliminates any remaining cement, plaster and dust. As the instructions for use indicate, this product can cover 24-30 m2/litre, and is supplied in containers of one and five litres.

STONE CLEANER should be diluted with an equal amount of water and applied to the wall with a composite sponge. It should be left to take effect for 5 minutes, then the wall can be rinsed with fresh water.

The floor can be cleaned with the RUBILIM electric machine. We pour STONE CLEANER into the tank, diluted with an equal amount of water. A polypropylene brush can help us to remove encrustations from the spacing and the tiles.

Measure out the product by using the left handle, which allows the liquid to pass directly from the tank to the brush via the tube.

Then set the speed to number II.

With the RUBILIM machine we can obtain a floor which is completely clean of impurities and encrustations, ready to hand over to the customer.

If we do not have an electric machine available, we can clean with a bucket and squeegee together with the STONE CLEANER from RUBINET.

As we can see in the last photograph, this will speed up the process and save a considerable amount of time. In addition, the bucket is fitted with wheels, which means it can be moved around the floor easily. It can also be used for cleaning the wall tiles, although it would be better to set the bucket on top of a table for this job.

These instructions have been written as we have progressed in the construction of our bathroom. The picture shows the completely finished bathroom. If we have followed the STEP BY STEP instructions, we will have achieved perfect wall and floor tiling, in less time and with a whole range of details correctly carried out.
