Content and Circulation:
Tile Today and its sister publication Discovering Stone are the official journals for the Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo (FFTSE). The inauguralexpo was held at the Dome, Sydney Showground, 17-19 April 2008. Since its inception in 1993 Tile Today has focused squarely on issues that pertain to the development of new products and technologies.
Tile Today is broadly perceived as a trade magazine, however approximately 50% of circulation is mailed to architects, interior designers, builders and specifiers. Please refer to the enclosed Comment on Tile Today document which features comments by readers and advertisers.
Tile Today is the only publication that has received international journalism awards for its coverage of the Cersaie (Italy) and Cevisama (Spain) exhibitions.
Tile Today reaches virtually every tile importer, wholesaler and retailer in Australia. Additional copies of Tile Today are circulated to tile importers, resellers and fixers in New Zealand. Bonus copies of Tile Today will be circulated at Cersaie (Italy), Cevisama (Spain), Expo Build (Shanghai), Coverings (USA) and of course the Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo.
The tile industry is driven by the capabilities of talented tilemakers and the dictates of fashion, but ultimately each product ends up in the hands of a tile fixer. Our magazine effectively bridges the gap between the interests of those who sell, specify or install tile, by devoting sufficient coverage to the world's leading trade shows, new products, industry trends, statistics and matters related to installation.
We estimate that more than a third of the nation's tile fixers regularly receive Tile Today.
New Feature
From May 2008 (issue no. 59) we will provide advertisers with an opportunity to circulate a DVD, enclosed with the magazine, to the demographic of their choice. For example, all architects in New South Wales or architects nationally, or our entire readership. Companies who take advantage of this option will also receive the option of featuring a product shot on the front cover.
Australian Tile Publications will commence DVD production which will include all aspects of filming, editing and design. Film can be made of events, specific locations or product. Events and products featured at the Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo will be filmed and produced on DVD.
Full Frontal Tile and Stone Exposition:
The continued growth of the tile and stone industries
are charted in Tile Today, Creative
Tiling and Discovering Stone magazines.
In several instances tile and stone are covered by the
same Australian standards. Tile and Stone products
are frequently cut, fixed, grouted and sealed with
products manufactured and supplied by companies
who market their materials to resellers and installers
of tile and stone.
The full frontal Tile & Stone exposition 2009 will continue to focus on every aspect of the tile & stone industry.
