www.infotile.com will Launch Online Specification on March 18

Infotile.com was launched in 1995, as the first truly international resource for information on tile and stone. The site receives an average of 65,000 unique visitors per month. On March 18 infotile will introduce an online select/specify feature for tile, stone, glass and related allied products. Visitors can simply browse through online Product Profiles, request samples, additional information or specify a hard surface finish, and a suitable adhesive, grout, sealer, expansion joint, from hundreds of available products.

All selections are automatically saved to a specification form which stores an image of the product, and the suppliers contact details. The completed form can be emailed to any interested parties. Each Project Specification is stored in the user's profile.

Membership of infotile is free, if you are an existing member or would like to join register online on the 18th. By registering as a member you gain access to online directories of tile and stone producers, and hundreds of articles on related selection, installation, and maintenance issues. Importantly you can use the online specification system.

Each tile and stone entry contains abrasion, porosity and slip resistance rating's, accompanied by current advice on these important issues.

All adhesive, grout and sealer selections contain relevant ISO information, MSDS and technical data.
